Year round you will find activities and attractions in Golden that make it a unique and wonderful place to be. In the spring, Golden’s outdoor attractions blossom with the new season. Enjoy numerous hiking and biking trails. Hike North Table Mountain or take the Coors Brewery Tour. Visit the Clear Creek Historic Park and feed the chickens. Take a walk in the Historical Block of Golden and then go to Golden City Brewery, Golden’s second largest brewery in Golden for a delicious cold beer. Hear live music at many local restaurants in Golden like the Golden Hotel and the Buffalo Rose which offers live music.

In the summer, visit the Farmer’s Market, take a walk along Clear Creek and watch the kayakers. Bring an inner tube and cool off on a ride down Clear Creek. Bring the kids down for Buffalo Bill Days in July and indulge in the Pancake Breakfast, then go to the parade and watch the live music and talent acts at Parfet Park. Visit one of the many car shows that take place in downtown Golden throughout the summer. In August, bring a picnic to Parfet Park and watch a movie in the park each Friday at dusk. Take a swim in the pool at the Golden Community Center or at Splash, the outdoor water park. Dine along the creek to catch a late summer sunset.
